Deluxe Padded 2.5 Row 8–12 Bass Melodeon Gig Bag

A deluxe padded gig bag for 2.5 row and larger 2 row melodeons with 8–12 bass buttons. With a soft plush lining, reinforced padding and padded rucksack straps, it is a practical option for carrying your instrument to lessons, sessions and festivals. More room for a larger melodeon

This bag offers more space than our deluxe two-row model, making it worth considering for a deeper-bodied instrument or one with an extra half-row. Some compact three-row melodeons may fit too; the instrument’s dimensions are the best guide.

Measure your melodeon with the bellows naturally closed, including the keyboard, feet and any projecting fittings. Allow enough room to slide it into the bag comfortably and close the zip without forcing it.

Row and bass counts do not tell you the whole story: instruments with the same layout can have quite different body sizes. If you are unsure, contact us with the make, model and measurements and we will help you choose.

Padding and construction

The 1000D Cordura outer is paired with 10 mm foam padding and 10 mm polyethylene hard foam around the instrument. A soft plush lining helps protect the finish, while rubberised feet help keep the base clear of the floor.

Carrying and access

Padded shoulder straps let you carry your melodeon on your back, leaving your hands free. The large zipped front pocket provides space for music and small accessories.

A full-opening YKK zip and side-loading design make it easy to put the instrument in and take it out.
