Choosing an accordion gig bag that fits
Start with your accordion’s measurements
Bass count is a useful guide, but it does not determine the size of an accordion. A compact 120 bass instrument may have a smaller body than another model with fewer bass buttons.
Measure the instrument’s overall height, width and depth, including projecting feet and fittings. Compare these with the bag’s stated internal dimensions, allowing room for any shoulder straps you intend to leave attached.
