St. Patrick’s Spirit in April: Join the Accordion Workshop & Concert at Copper Pub Paris!
If you find yourself in the City of Light this April, there is one event every squeezebox enthusiast needs on their radar. Forget the typical tourist traps; we’re heading to the heart of the 14th Arrondissement for a day of bellows, buttons, and brilliant Irish trad!
The Event: Irish Accordion Workshop & "Concert Raconté"
On Saturday, April 11th, 2026, the Irish Association of Paris is hosting its 7th monthly session of the season. Whether you are a seasoned pro or just starting your journey with the melodeon this workshop is designed for all levels.
Led by the incredibly talented Julia Kersaual—a Nantes-based accordionist and tin whistle virtuoso—the session focuses on the rhythmic soul of traditional Irish music.
Pro Tip: Not an accordionist? No problem! For the first 90 minutes, the workshop opens its doors to all traditional Irish instruments (fiddles, flutes, and whistles) to play together "around the accordion."
A Special 7th Edition: Ladies' Choice Trio
This isn't just a workshop; it's a celebration. At 5:00 PM (17h), the afternoon culminates in a special performance by the Ladies' Choice Trio.
- Esther Cazin (Violin)
- Julia Kersual (Accordion)
- Armèle Robin (Clarinet)
They will be performing a "Concert Raconté," weaving music with stories of the powerful women—composers and legendary figures—who shaped the Irish tradition.
The Venue: Copper Pub Paris
Located in the vibrant Gare Montparnasse quarter, the Copper Pub is the ultimate host. This American-style gastropub is famous for its rotating craft beers and homemade sharing plates—the perfect fuel after a long session of playing!
- Where: The Copper Pub, 14th Arrondissement, Paris.
- When: Saturday, April 11th, 2026.
